Cement/Bulk Equipment Operator

Arbuckle, CA

ThermaSource, Inc. is a full service geothermal drilling organization located in Northern California. Our ThermaSource Cementing group is looking for people with experience in Oil & Gas and/or Geothermal cementing operations. We are currently seeking an experienced Cement and Bulk Equipment Operators. The Equipment Operator is responsible for driving, operating, and maintaining all pumping services equipment such as cement pumping units and bulk equipment. The Equipment Operator will also be responsible for assembling and preparing equipment for installation and service, performing pre and post equipment inspections and maintenance, assisting the Cementing Supervisor, and contributing to safe rigging operations during and after service delivery.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Drive truck-mounted units and equipment to well sites.
  • Maintain truck and cementing equipment to ensure all equipment is in proper working order.
  • Participate in the execution of job/service by monitoring gauges, dials, or other indicators to ensure proper control and operation of equipment.
  • Keep documentation current; maintenance sheets, fuel logs, log books, pre/post trip logs, job summaries and expense accounts.
  • Communicate effectively with Supervisor in planning and execution of services.
  • Know and comply with DOT requirements.
  • Behave in a safe manner at all times and report all accidents, incidents, injuries, near misses and hazardous conditions immediately to supervisor.
  • Participate in safety and general meetings to improve team performance.

Qualifications

  • Class “A” Commercial Drivers License with current medical certificate.
  • Certificate of achievement from an accredited oil well cementing institute desired.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
  • Ability to work a 24 hour on-call schedule.
