Cementing Supervisor (Cementer)
ThermaSource, Inc. is a full service geothermal drilling organization located in Northern California. Our ThermaSource Cementing group is looking for people with experience in Oil & Gas and/or Geothermal cementing operations. We are currently seeking an experienced Cementing Supervisor. As a Cementing Supervisor, you will provide the planning necessary for the job including knowledge of basic oil well operation including pipe capacities and volume/height math, plug landing pressures and absolute volume along with instruction to the crew and equipment being used. You will ensure customer satisfaction with work performed, coordinate and direct the activities of equipment operators, and coordinate the clean up, repair and preparation of equipment for the next job.

Primary Responsibilities
- Plan and execute cementing programs to ensure customer satisfaction with work performed.
- Coordinate the clean up, repair and preparation of equipment for the next job.
- Serve as the “safety mentor” for the crew on well-site to ensure crew safety.
- Provide “quality control” and “quality assurance” oversight to assure customers’ needs are met and the best customer service is provided.
- Establish and maintain regular contact with customers to provide excellent customer care and to seek new opportunities for potential and new business.
- Supervise and manage performance for up to 10 crew members.
Qualifications
- Class “A” Commercial Drivers License with current medical certificate.
- Certificate of achievement from an accredited oil well cementing institute.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, pressure and volume. Concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
- Knowledge of Data acquisition and Spreadsheet software. (MS Office)
