Field Service Engineer - Cementing

ThermaSource, Inc. is a full service geothermal drilling organization located in Northern California. Our ThermaSource Cementing group is looking for people with experience in Oil & Gas and/or Geothermal cementing operations. We are currently seeking an experienced Field Engineer. The Field Engineer will be responsible for designing and executing standard and cutting edge cement designs for our customers. Field Engineers also develop and maintain a personal relationship with the technical customer base to ensure that we are able to respond promptly to their Cementing requirements.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide cementing job design, well support and post job analysis,
  • Streamline processes to increase quality and productivity,
  • Ensure adequate supplies and equipment are on-site to execute cement design,
  • Utilize best practices and capture lessons learned,

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering, and 4 years experience,
  • Good organizational and engineering/analytical skills,
  • Demonstrated engineering expertise to formulate new and innovative designs,
  • Expertise with sophisticated engineering design software,
  • Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and C programming is desired,
  • Must follow safety procedures,
