Louis E. Capuano, Jr., President & CEO

Prior to ThermaSource, Mr. Capuano was drilling manager for Thermogenics, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Hughes Aircraft Corporation. Prior to Thermogenics, Inc., Mr. Capuano opened the regional office of Signal Oil and Gas Company in 1974. From 1980 to 2007, Mr. Capuano was CEO of ThermaSource, Inc. a geothermal engineering and drilling consultancy. In 2007, Mr. Capuano became President and CEO of ThermaSource, LLC, a holding company for ThermaSource, Inc., ThermaSource Cementing, Inc., EGS, Inc., ChemTech Services, LLC, and Tecton Geologic, LLC. Mr. Capuano earned a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Southwestern Louisiana. Mr. Capuano has over 32 years of geothermal experience.

Jim Hanson, Executive Vice President, Operations

Prior to ThermaSource, Mr. Hanson served as Worldwide Geothermal Manager for Smith International, Inc. Prior to Smith International, Inc., Mr. Hanson was Manager of Geothermal Operations for Grant Oil Tool Company from 1977 to 1993. From 1998 to 2007, Mr. Hanson worked with ThermaSource as project manager, purchasing manager, safety coordinator and drilling superintendent. With the formation of ThermaSource, LLC, in 2007, Mr. Hanson became the Executive Vice President, Operations. Mr. Hanson is a graduate from the University of Texas, Permian Basin with a B.A, in Management. Mr. Hanson has over 31 years of geothermal experience.

David Workman, COO

Prior to ThermaSource, Mr. Workman worked in the high tech, wine business and electric vehicle industries. He was involved in raising over $628 million of equity and debt, including two initial public offerings. Mr. Workman served as Corporate Controller for California Energy Company from 1980 to 1991 and was involved in the 275 MWe Coso geothermal project. In 2007, Mr. Workman joined the ThermaSource team as Chief Financial Officer, later being promoted to Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Workman earned his B.S. and M.B.A. in Business Administration at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. Mr. Workman has over 11 years of geothermal experience.

Robert J. Swanson, Vice President, Engineering

Prior to ThermaSource, Mr. Swanson was a Senior Drilling Engineer for Chevron. Prior to Chevron, Mr. Swanson served as Senior Drilling Engineer for Unocal Corporation. In 2008, Mr. Swanson joined ThermaSource as the Vice President, Engineering and is responsible for development of well designs, drilling programs, quality control and drilling performance. Mr. Swanson received an M.S. in Petroleum Engineering from the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology and a B.S. in Geophysics from the University of Minnesota, Institute of Technology. Mr. Swanson is licensed in the State of California as a Professional Engineer in Petroleum Engineering and has over 24 years of geothermal experience.

Bill Gittins, Vice President, Human Resources

Prior to ThermaSource, Mr. Gittins owned a human resources consulting firm for six years. Prior to owning his own company, he was a founding member and Vice President of Pacific Management Group from 1993 until 1999. Prior to Pacific Management Group, Mr. Gittins worked for Optical Coating Laboratory for twenty years, as the company grew from 425 to 1350 employees. Mr. Gittins was brought on at ThermaSource to establish state-of-the-art Human Resource policies to help ThermaSource become the place to work in the geothermal field. Mr. Gittins received a B.S. in Business Administration/Management from Indiana University.

Paul Brophy, Chief Geologist, EGS, Inc.

Mr. Brophy adds unmatched value to the ThermaSource team with nearly 40 years of geologic engineering experience and resource assessment services. Mr. Brophy received his B.S. in Geology at the University of London, England, his M.S. in Geophysics from the University of Leeds, England and another M.S. in Mining and Exploration Geology from the University of Northern Queensland, Australia.

Marc Brennen, Director Business Development & Marketing

Prior to ThermaSource, Mr. Brennen served as Senior Account Representative with Halliburton Energy Services. Prior to Halliburton, Mr. Brennen held technical sales positions with BJ Services from 1981 to 1998. Mr. Brennen joined ThermaSource in 2008 as the Director of Business Development & Marketing. Mr. Brennen will oversee all business development opportunities for ThermaSource, LLC, with a focus on the success of the newly formed ThermaSource Cementing, Inc. Mr. Brennen received a B.A. in Geology from Capital University, in Columbus, Ohio.

Mike Roach, Operations Manager, Latin America

Prior to ThermaSource, Mr. Roach was Country Manager - Argentina (NIASRL) for Nabors Drilling International Ltd. since 2006. Prior to being Country Manger, Mr. Roach worked for Nabors Drilling as a Project manager, Worldwide Equipment Coordinator, and Operations Engineer since 2002. In his roles with Nabors Drilling, Mr. Roach worked in 25 countries, and visited 49 for business purposes. Mr. Roach earned a B.A. in International Business and Spanish, with an Eastern Business Practice Focus, from Western Washington University. Mr. Roach is fluent in Spanish.

Willy Henderson, Cementing Operations Manager

Prior to joining ThermaSource Cementing, Mr. Henderson worked for Halliburton from 1984 through 2008, starting as an Equipment Operator and advancing to Service Coordinator. Mr. Henderson retired from Halliburton in March of 2008 with over 30 certification courses and honors completed in health, safety, leadership, and team management. With over 24 years in the geothermal industry working all through Nevada, Hawaii, Oregon, from El Centro, CA, to the Geysers, Mr. Henderson brings his seasoned industry and thought leadership to ThermaSource Cementing, Inc.

Robert Valentine, Field Operations Manager

Prior to joining ThermaSource Cementing, Mr. Valentine spent 31 years with Halliburton. While at Halliburton, Mr. Valentine helped to develop and implement slurry designs for geothermal drilling and work over operations in Northern and Southern California, Oregon, Hawaii, and Nevada. Mr. Valentine has aided customers in reducing their overall cementing costs by implementing new materials and innovative processes for geothermal projects throughout the Western US and Canada.

Hamid Najafi, Cementing Engineering Manager

Prior to joining ThermaSource Cementing, Mr. Najafi worked in a technical professional position with Halliburton Cementing. Here he provided fluid engineering, technical support, computer simulation and data acquisition for cementing operations in geothermal and natural gas operations. While at Halliburton, Mr. Najafi also conducted well temperature simulations and developed software to accommodate rigorous fluids and cementing calculations. Mr. Najafi earned a BS in Chemical Engineering from Cal Poly at Pomona, California.

Louis E. Capuano, III, Drilling Engineer

Louis Capuano, III has been a drilling engineer with ThermaSource since 2006. He assists on all engineering projects and with field supervision. Mr. Capuano has been exposed to the geothermal drilling industry his entire life, which has given him a unique perspective as a drilling engineer for ThermaSource. It is this exposure and experience in the geothermal industry that has made Mr. Capuano an integral part of the ThermaSource engineering team. Mr. Capuano received a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from Louisiana State University.

Patrick Hanson, Marketing Specialist

Prior to ThermaSource, Mr. Hanson worked as an Account Executive at National Products, Inc. (NPI) Prior to NPI, Mr. Hanson was the Marketing Coordinator for Wings Aloft, a Charter Airline and Flight School in Seattle, Washington. From 2003 to 2006, Mr. Hanson worked with Touchpoint Metrics and MCorp., two marketing consultancies in San Rafael, CA while earning his MBA. Mr. Hanson earned his B.A in International Management with a concentration in Marketing and his M.B.A, in Global Strategic Management at Dominican University of California.

Dennis Brown, Rig Manager

Prior to joining ThermaSource, Mr. Brown was a drilling foreman for Northern California Power Agency (NCPA). Prior to NCPA, Mr. Brown worked as a tool pusher for Loffland Brothers Drilling Co., and Monterey Drilling Co. Mr. Brown majored in Geology at San Pable College, and holds Tool Pusher and Key Man Certifications from the Ventura College Well Control School.

Buddy Burke, Drilling Superintendent, South Western

Prior to joining ThermaSource, Mr. Burke was supervisor of drilling equipment and machinery for T&T Truck and Crane Service. Prior to T&T Truck and Crane Service, Mr. Burke was with Nabors Drilling USA, Inc. as a supervisor of rig operations. Mr. Burke has over thirty years of experience in the drilling industry.

Roger Almond, Drilling Superintendent, North Western Region

Prior to joining ThermaSource, Mr. Almond was with Caza Drilling as a Tool Pusher. Prior to Caza he worked for Northern California Power Agency on their geothermal projects in the Geysers. Mr. Almond worked for various drilling companies throughout the United States for twelve years prior to moving to the geothermal industry in 1990. Mr. Almond brings over 20 years of geothermal drilling experience and rig management to the ThermaSource team.
