| Well Testing
| | ThermaSource, LLC will design a well testing program that will yield and evaluate all the information about any geothermal resource. This information is used for feasibility studies and economic evaluation needed to fully develop the resource. Testing programs are ideally designed for each resource. We will design the program based on the ability of self-flowing wells and pumped wells to produce. Well testing services include: | Back To Top
| Resource Assessment
| ThermaSouce, LLC assists in resource assessment before or during drilling to identify and evaluate potential resource zones. Our job is to locate available resources, determine how much is available and how fast it can be produced. This information aids in drill site selection, project development planning and economic feasibility considerations. ThermaSource, LLC also provides integrated geothermal reservoir studies that are customized to the specific needs of our clients. These studies include analysis of well logs, test data, geological studies and geophysical information. With this data we can develop a reservoir description. To create optimal development strategies we also calculate an energy and mass balance. Once drilling has commenced information to assist in well-site evaluation of geological formations, gasses, geothermal fluids, and drilling activity is obtained through sensors located on the drilling rig. | | Back To Top
| Geothermal Economics
|
| Geothermal economics are a vital aid to effective decision-making throughout a geothermal venture. Many factors can be determined by applying geothermal economics to the amount and type of resources at a site. Such factors include, optimal size of a project, whether or not it is economically feasible and the most economical way to develop the project. By obtaining our expertise before a project is underway, a client can save a considerable amount of money and time by avoiding high-risk situations and preventing costly errors. Since our financial calculations and advice are impartial and objective, our information is both accurate and unbiased. For these reasons geothermal economic analysis is one of the most valuable services ThermaSource, LLC offers.
