San Andreas Fault Observatory at Depth, Parkfield California ThermaSource provided drilling plans, management and engineering for the San Andreas Fault Observation at Depth Project (SAFOD). SAFOD consists of drilling through the San Andreas Fault and setting seismic instruments at depth to aide in the research of earthquakes.
