Powering the Future

Saturday was the culmination of more than three decades of work for John Lund and his colleagues.

Oregon Institute of Technology had an official groundbreaking for a geothermal well that will provide enough energy to fully power the university campus. Lund, director of the OIT Geoheat Center, has worked toward such a project since helping found the center in 1975.
