ThermaSource at the Geothermal Project Showcase - Newseum - Washington DC

Earlier this week, May 6th; ThermaSource presented video footage for the first annual Geothermal Project Showcase in Washington DC, at the Newseum.

Over 250 people, in a standing room only venue attended the Showcase. All eyes were glued to the 5 flat-screen televisions strategically placed throughout the room. Each company presenting was given 15 minutes to introduce their projects and show the video footage. ThermaSource was up 2nd and showed a video that highlighted 3 key projects in 2008. The first project was for OIT with Rig 105 in Klamath Falls, OR. The second project was for Nevada Geothermal Blue Mountain project in Winnemucca, NV, and the last project was for Bottle Rock with Rig 108 in the Geysers.

Geothermal Energy Industry Leaders and Experts at the Newseum, Wednesday, May 6th

WASHINGTON, May 5 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — Geothermal industry leaders and experts will present a Geothermal Showcase at the Newseum in Washington, DC, Wednesday afternoon, from noon to 5:00 pm. Participants will be invited to virtually visit some of the leading geothermal energy development projects in the United States and hear from companies at the forefront of geothermal power growth. Companies will lead digital tours of geothermal power plants and will present on visions of potential and future geothermal technologies. A panel of leading geothermal scientists will discuss the promising question: “What can geothermal resources contribute to our energy needs?”
