    Provided Drilling engineering for exploration geothermal wells to be drilled in the Surprise Valley area of northern California.

  • U.S. State Department: Provide drilling engineering consult to Tengchong Geothermal Project located in Yunnan Province, China.

    Traveled to Tengchong and consulted with Chinese drilling engineers on the drilling of a geothermal exploration well. Well had come to a stand still and progress was going no further. The Chinese government asked assistance from the U.S. State Department and I was sent to assist. Mr. Capuano spent 10 days reviewing well data, lecturing and making recommendations.

  • United Nations: Provide technical drilling support in China -1982

    Mr. Capuano traveled to Beijing and lectured to Chinese drilling drillers for three weeks. Specialized lectures on geothermal drilling. Casing and cement design, drilling programs including mud programs, directional programs, bit programs as well as hydraulics. Discussed rig and equipment specifications. All work performed for the Ministry of Geology for the promotion of geothermal energy.
