NEW BOART LONGYEAR LF230 HYDRAULIC DIAMOND CORE RIG

Featuring hydraulic rod making and breaking, independent dual hydraulic mast raising cylinders, hydrualic mast dumping capability up to 72 inches, hydraulic telescopic 30 ft pull mast for ease of setup, 40,000 lbs capacity mainline hoist, and electric over hydraulic main controls (fast feed, rotation, main line hoist, wireline). Rig is mounted on a 1995 Mack truck, fully serviced, model RD690S.

ROTATION UNIT

Hollow spindle for PQ tools - 4 13/16" maximum chuck jaw opening. Straight cut gear driven with FUNK 4-speed transmission. 2-speed reversible bent axis piston type hydraulic motor to maximize spindle torque and rpm.

International Derrick Service 77' mast with 500,000 lb static hook load. 8'1" wide x 6' deep. 825,000 gross nominal capacity. IDS 500,000 SHL crown block.

Sub-Structure

International Derrick Service 22' hydraulic lift, 250 ton slip bowl beam capacity. IDS hydraulic pipe arm for handling of 3 1/2" to 5" range II or III drill pipe, 6 1/4" to 9" drill collars, and Range III casing from 7" to 20".

Top Drive

Venturetech XK-250 hydraulic top drive. 250T rated capacity with a working pressure of 5,000 psi.

Wireline Unit

Oilworks OWI-1000 wireline unit with 12,000' of .092" wireline.

Driller's Controls

Rig comes equipped with driller control house, complete with electronic controls for rig operation and drilling control functions; includes automatic driller and iron roughneck.
